Plan Refresh

Good morning everyone,

I'm seeking clarification on the refresh of our accessibility plan. As we're currently budgeting for the new fiscal year, we're interested in understanding the extent to which municipalities will be required to update their existing accessibility plans.

Specifically, we're considering whether it's necessary to re-engage our consultant (which can be costly) to assist with this update if a new document is required. However, if the update simply involves adding an appendix to support our efforts in integrating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) into our daily operations countywide, then our committee may be capable of handling it.

I'm curious to know if others are also exploring this matter and, if so, what actions you've taken or any suggestions you might have.
